Anyone who has been expelled from Canada will likely require an ARC in order to return. An individual can receive one of three distinct kinds of eviction notices:
Instructions to Leave (form IMM 5238)
1-You do not require an Authorization to Return to Canada if you got an Exit Notice and confirmed your departure with a Canadian customs official at the point of exit within 30 days.
2-Departing without verification or departure more than 30 days after the Departure Order was given both necessitate the submission of an Application for Registration as an Exempt Special Immigrant.
3-Banishment Decree (IMM 1214B)
4-No ARC is required if it has been 12 months since you left Canada, the date you departed is clearly marked on your Declaration of Departure (IMM 0056B), and you were given an Exclusion Order.
5-Returning to Canada within 12 months of receiving a Restriction Order or without a Declaration of Exit requires an ARC application.
6-Directive to Remove Permanently (IMM 5238B)
7-A Deportation Notice necessitates an Application for Reentry Permit (ARC).
