Application Timeline

You must submit your complete application within 60 days of receiving your ITA.

Delays or incomplete submissions will result in removal from the Express Entry pool.

After You Apply

An Acknowledgment of Receipt (AOR) is generated once documents are uploaded.

IRCC reviews your application usually within 6 months.

Failure to submit in time = removal from pool and need for re-entry in future draws.

Misrepresentation and Fraud Warning

Misrepresentation, whether intentional or not, can lead to application refusal and ban you from reapplying for 5 years.

Examples include:

  • Fake or altered documents
  • Hiding criminal history
  • Errors from your representative (still your responsibility)
