Rural & Northern Immigration Pilot

The Rural & Northern Immigration Pilot (RNIP) is new initiative that will be introduced in June 2019 with the goal of strengthening smaller communities, particularly those that are located in rural regions. Employers in the communities that are collaborating will have the opportunity to list available jobs on the website. If you are a qualified foreign national who is interested in working and living in Canada, you will have the opportunity to apply for these positions, and if you are successful, the community in which you serve may then recommend you to the government for permanent citizenship.

Canada is in desperate need of competent individuals as a result of declining fertility rates & rising rates of early retirement. Even though there are many qualified immigrants coming to the land of the midnight sun, nearly seventy percent of immigrants end up settling in metropolitan provinces such as Quebec, Ontario, and British Columbia, which leaves significant voids in the population of rural communities.

The majority of foreigners fail to take into consideration the fact that although possibilities in metropolitan areas may appear to be more profitable, these places also have a significantly higher cost of living. Second, there is substantially more competition for opportunities as a result of the undeniable predilection for metropolitan centers not only among qualified immigrants from other countries but also among young professionals from the host country.

There is no one available to fill the gaps, so there is a higher demand, and naturally, a higher demand implies a higher compensation. The secret advantage of pursuing employment in smaller communities is that there is no one available to fill the spaces.
